Double Denim

I was so inspired by Miroslava's double denim outfit that I wanted to try it out myself. And I must say that I love it! The denim patchwork blouse and patchwork skinny jeans are both from See by Chloe, the clutch is from Beginningboutique, the boots are from Romwe, the nailpolish is Chanel June, the cap is from H&M and the necklace is from Chanel.

At the moment it is snowing in the Netherlands and it is -12 Degrees celsius, so when we shot this outfit post I was freezing.. But I wanted to shoot this outfit without a coat because I think it looks the best that way hehe :)
So I had to be tough for 15 minutes and then stand in front of my fireplace for half an hour to warm up. All in the name of fashion :)

First of all I want to thank the Copenhagen Fashion Week team for inviting me to Denmark. It was a great experience and I'm grateful to have been a part of it. I enjoyed every moment and I would love to go back next season.
On Saturday I went to the Bulgari party where a Spanish DJ, Camilo Franco, was hosting the event and I really had a blast.
Last night was the closing Copenhagen Fashion Week party and it was also amazing.
It was so nice meeting new people from different cities and share fashion experiences.

New in: Versace Cruise

The cherry on top! I liked almost all of the cherry printed items from the Versace cruise collection from H&M. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of items. My favourite items are the flats and the bracelet. Which ones are your favourites?

Hello everyone from cold Copenhagen! It's my first time in the city and I really love it! I'm very into the Scandinavian designers and I think they have a very unique sense of fashion.
I went to a lot of shows like Samuji, Asger Juel Larsen, Gaia, Soulland, to name a few.
I love the prints, the cuts and the strict shapes the clothes have. Everything is so minimalistic and clean. I also loved the qualities and the structures. I went to several parties also after the shows. 
I was in shock with the temperature and it's the first time that I witnessed so much cold. -16 degrees was too much for me...brrrrr
Tonight is my last night and the closing party is waiting for us!

We shot this look in the weekend when it was a bit warmer. At the moment it is so cold in the Netherlands, if you are longer than 5 minutes outside your face is frozen.
Brr, I hate the cold, I am so jealous of you how live somewhere where the temperature never hits beneath the 15 degrees! I guess, I am not really a winter person ;)

SpringForward

Saying farewell to cold weather, layers upon layers, dry hair, and non tan skin can be a bit hard....NOT! Enter Spring!!!!!! Here at LF Home Base we are gearing up for Spring like no other! Although, I must say the last few days in LA have been a bit reminiscent of summer....oh the glory days!  The mood boards are up and samples are flying in left right! Bah humbug its like my birthday everyday here. I walk into the office to find more and more Spring goodies and I have squeak with excitement! While, we are on the topic of squeaking...You should all know the most intriguing part of being on the LF team is collecting images for our mood boards. This upcoming season we are influenced by all things BEACH, so get out your Maui Babe and floppy hat and meet us at Tower 7 dudes!!!!!!
